Pajamas shorts?

This post was originally going to be on 'pom pom shorts' which I think are super cute but still a bit on the fence about. The more I looked around the more I saw lots of little floaty summer shorts, the prints are sweet and they look really comfy. My only problem is they could be confused as pajama shorts, as many are a little on the skimpy side. 
I still think a pair might so make their way into my wardrobe.
