One// Lucie
So basically everything in this post relates in some way to Lucie. Lucie is my best friend in the world, we've spent the last 2+ weeks straight with each other. Today we had to say goodbye (well, see you later, I don't believe in goodbyes) before we both leave for different parts of America. There were lots of tears and cuddles but I'm so excited for her. She's my favorite person and I love her hundreds.
(I also now don't have access to her amazing camera and proof reading sessions on my posts will have to be scheduled; what a nightmare!)
Cue gorgeous (not) photos below.
Two//Road trips
This summer I have gone on lots and lots of long journeys. Being at University and having best friends in the north, coming from the south and boyfriend in the midlands - its a lot of driving. I actually really enjoy driving especially in the summer, despite my oven of a car. Road trips with good company, mix CDs and lots of loud tuneless, could I ask for more?!
Three//Aladdin
I am a big Disney fan but have never seen Aladdin and it's one of Lucie's favorites. We woke up unnecessarily early one morning and snuggled up and watched it. I really enjoyed it and it nice to watch an innocent funny movie rather than a rude one. Robin Williams always makes me laugh.
Four//MAC Prep and Prime Highlighter
I lost my concealer at some point somewhere in Lucie's house, so I borrowed some of this and loved it. I've never seen many reviews on it but it does such an amazing job of covering up dark circles. I would call it more of a highlighting concealer rather than a highlighter. I would prefer something that gives a bit more of of a dewy/sheen as a cheek highlighter. I wouldn't use in on blemishes due to its highlighting effect and it could potentially just draw attention to them. But on under eye circles it works a treat and I might have to pick up my own!
Five//Bloglovin and Blogginggals
This is the only non-Lucie related favorite and it's kind of two separate things I'm grouping together.
The more I've been blogging, the more I'm enjoying the community that comes with it. Everyone is so supportive and lovely to each other and it's a great way to meet and interact with new people. I'm constantly learning from other people's blogs and spend hours reading, following and commenting on others.
There have been two platforms in which I've really felt a part of.
First is the website Bloglovin.com. It's a great way to follow all your favorite blogs in one place rather that jump from one address to another. It also allows you to see which posts people you follow are enjoying and recommends you new blogs to follow.
Second is the the twitter account @blogginggals
They run articles with amazing blogging tips, retweet blog posts to help gain a larger audience and run competitions and meetups. I just love the positivity and passion for blogging this account puts forward and that its for British based bloggers!

Next weeks going to be super busy as I leave for the USA on Friday!
