Dawn O'Porter's piece for this month's Glamour magazine brought my attention to an article written by Monica Lewinsky for Vanity Fair. Read here!
I found it so interesting to see it from the other side, I mean not many people have the opportunity to sleep with a President! Dawn O'Porters response was feisty and I loved it. Her look into the comparison of Clinton and Lewinsky's very different treatment since the affair really made for refreshing reading.
Two// The Glamour of Italian Fashion
This week I had a day wandering in London and took a visit to the V&A to see 'The Glamour of Italian Fashion' exhibition. It's running until 27th July so there's not long left to go and see it. Anyone who is a fan of fashion will love it with its inclusion of pieces from both the beginnings of fashion design in Italy to the feature of pieces like Gucci's 2014 'Jackie' bag. It was a really nice way to kill some time and learn something. It's quite expensive for the size of the exhibition, £8 for a student and it only takes about 40 mins to walk around. I could have sat in one of the rooms for hours though, looking at the intricate details of some of the gowns really made you think of them as works of art not just 'dresses'. They also have some of the designer's sketchbooks on display allowing a peek into the depth, purpose and stories behind some of the pieces.
"A secret society, made up of pioneers, a few inventors and a few poets, they are the new phenomenon and the new elite" - Anna PiaggiThree// Traveling
When I'm in America I have a huge list of places I want to go and this week my savings are coming together and my dreams will (fingers crossed) soon become reality. I'm currently putting together a list of the places/things to do in Boston for when I go with my Dad and Brother on 8th August and it's very exciting.
Four// Family time
When I go to America, as much as I'm always here, there and everywhere anyway, I'm going to miss my family (even my brother). Today we had a BBQ with some family friends, well it was a fail of one because it wouldn't light. It was a bit of a departure party. My Mum made some amazing lamb and feta burgers and it was such a lovely afternoon. I also spent some time at my dad's this week, I find it so refreshing to spend time with family after being away at uni.
Five// Life Planning
I know have a whole year before I graduate but this week I've been getting organised and looking at graduate schemes, masters, jobs and application dates. I've relished in making hundreds of lists with information and pros and cons. I think, to some, this would be a little daunting but with me it's just made me super excited for where life takes me and the adventures I'll go on.
XOXO

I love the dress you are wearing in the photos as well as your entire blog!
