Goodbye-B-Q

Going to America seemed a perfect reason to get everyone together for a little BBQ party. I'm going for 5 months and with all of us being at university we probably wouldn't see each other much in that period but who cares, party, party, party.
I definitely embraced the USA theme, with a Hollister dress, red cardigan and Converse.
It was so lovely to have nearly all my best friends, old and new, in one place (the boys didn't like many photos). I had so much fun and haven't laughed so much in forever! Its always so nice to catch up with everyone and see what they're doing and how we're all becoming real grown-ups. Being mostly university students, there were a lot of discussions about how terrified we are of having to enter the real world and be sensible.
We had a BBQ which the boys finally managed to cook on after about a hundred attempts and a hundred fire lighters. It was classic burgers and hotdogs, and by the time they were cooked, we needed them because the drinks were in full flow.
The red cups were a hit and were definitely BIG, leading to lots of fun and silly conversations. We played Truth Or Dare, I Have Never and 'Cards Against Humanity', which was hilarious even if a bit inappropriate.
I am so grateful to everyone who came; Lucie, Alex, Matt, Georgie, Marc, Jack, Robbie, Jade, Marina, Katherine, Jodie, Lizzie, Daniella, Emma, Matt W. and Carla. (I hope I didn't forget anyone and it's in no order) You guys and everyone else who couldn't make it mean the absolute world to me. My life would be a lot duller without such a hilarious, silly, supportive and wonderful group.
I mean, I had an absolute blast!
XOXO
