This week, while Matt was staying, he and I took a spontaneous an afternoon trip to visit the Wimpole estate, which is part of the National trust, for a bit of lunch and a walk across the field. It was a gorgeous sunny day so I got my legs out in the hope of a tan top up!
We had sandwiches and lemonade at the refectory restaurant which was nice apart from the wasps. I tried rose lemonade and it was so yummy and refreshing. The only thing was the cafe/restaurant itself was VERY expensive so I think we'll skip it next time we go and take a picnic.
Next time Matt comes to visit we've decided we want to give up this poor students thing and pay to actually see inside the house and visit the estate's farm!
