Living somewhere as beautiful as Cambridge means that whenever anyone comes to stay it gives me an excuse to become a bit of a tourist for the day. This summer, be prepared for many 'Cambridge day' posts with various guests. My city is so beautiful so I don't think pictures of it will ever get boring!

Matt is here for a few days and he loves Cambridge so we braved the thousands of tourists for a nice day of sightseeing.
We grabbed some lunch, after reading a Guardian review, at 'St Johns Chophouse'. It took us ages to choose from the menu, we wanted everything. When the food came it was delicious. I decided to choose something new and had Guinea Fowl with haggis mash, green beans, bacon and oyster mushroom sauce and Matt had collar of pork with apple and black pudding mash, root vegetables and grain mustard sauce. Sounds so fancy, looked so fancy and was so yummy.
Finally you get some classic pictures of how pretty Cambridge is. I think its a city that's pretty hard not to fall in love with.
XOXO
