Topshop 'Mom' Jeans

Okay so I never thought I'd be wanting any jeans which weren't your classic 'Skinny' jean, I've ventured to the high waisted style but that's the furthers I ever though I would go until I saw these.

These are exactly what you envision when someone says 'mum' jeans. The classic 90's High-waisted baggy jean. A friend of mine was recently wearing a pair at a festival we went to and they looked awesome (she dresses really cool anyway). But ever since then I've been dying to get my hands on a pair. They cost £40-42 and without a doubt as soon as first paycheck comes in (or student loan) I will be snapping up a pair of these babys!

They come in several other washes and patterns:

 Styles Left-Right: Bleached Acid, Vintage, Black Wash, Blue

At first sight these jeans don't look the most flattering, but the high waist and baggy tapered leg creates a comfy and chilled style.

I think this style of jean can be worn both dressed up and down. A pair of heels would emphasis the ankle with a plain white tee, black blazer and statement necklace for a chic look. A slogan tee with a cardigan and pair of converse would create an effortlessly cool daytime look and they would look awesome with a cropped top.
