16 for 2016.


I totally don't believe in this whole 'new year new me' malarkey. I mean it's day three of 2016 and I've already slept through my alarm which I've never done before so if anything I've got worse. I do feel on the other hand that it's a perfect time to give a little think to things you want to do this year.



I've created a list of my 16 things I want to do in 2016.


1// Gym - I need to get back into a routine of making use of my gym membership. I used to go a lot before I moved to Leeds and it really makes me feel better. 

2// Stop Spending - self explanatory and if I do spend I want it to be on experiences rather than random things I might forget about in a month.

3// Learn more - I want to start learning about the things I find interesting and expanding my knowledge. This leads on to my next point...

4// Read - I used to read a lot before I started university since then I haven't made the time for it which I'm now going to try to do.

5// Clean - Obviously I clean now but I want to be a more 'clean as I go' person rather than leaving it until I have loads to do all at once.

6// One cleanser at a time - I need to make sure I use up what I have before buying more, the same goes for foundation, mascara, bronzer, blushers, you get the picture. 

7// Travel - Something I love and need to save to do more of. 

8// Graduate, again - I'm currently doing my masters in Advertising and Marketing whilst working a 16 hour week so graduating (fingers crossed I do) will be an amazing achievement.

9// Get a Job - For once I've graduated. I want to make sure it's doing something I find stimulating and interesting even if I have to start from the bottom and work up.

10// Cut off - Create downtime, don't half work half relax. I want to make sure that I have time to destress.

11// Contact - I am awful at keeping in contact with people and most of my friends and family don't live near me so this year I need to be better at contacting and especially replying to them. 

12// Sleep - I want to get a better sleep schedule and make the most out of my mornings which recently I haven't seen.

13// Positive not negative - Looking at the positives of a situation and stop moaning. Changing my perspective and seeing how amazing life really is. 

14// Less screens - I want to spend less time looking at screens, especially the hour before I go to bed because studies say that it improves sleep quality.

15// Organise - Kind of goes with some of my others, manage my time to make sure I can do these kind of things.
